When I was little, I never fully appreciated wearing my Easter dresses. Every year I was dolled up in puffy, floral dresses, hair bows, an assortment of wide-brimmed hats, tights, and white Mary Janes. In pictures, these outfits are accessorized with a stiff smile that clearly says, “I hate this.”

But now that I’m older, wiser, and in full control of my wardrobe, I’ve come to love any and every chance to get dressed up, and Easter is one of my favorites. Continue reading →
